About this study
This study is for adults whose asthma remains uncontrolled even while taking a daily controller inhaler. Participants receive about 12 months of close monitoring — breathing tests, regular check-ins, and study-related care at no cost — while helping researchers evaluate an investigational treatment.
You may qualify if…
- Qualifies: Age 18 to 75
- Qualifies: Diagnosed with asthma and on a physician-prescribed daily controller for at least 12 months
- Qualifies: At least one asthma flare-up needing steroid pills or a shot (like prednisone) in the past 12 months
- Qualifies: Asthma still causing symptoms despite your current medication
This study may not be a fit if…
- Not a fit: Diagnosed with diabetes
- Not a fit: Currently using medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, or Zepbound
- Not a fit: Current smoker or vaper, or a heavy past smoking history
- Not a fit: Other chronic lung conditions such as COPD or emphysema

$155 at your first visit — up to $3,800 over 12 months for completed visits and diary entries. Compensation is for your time and travel, provided per completed visit, and never contingent on study results.

No — never. All study-related visits, tests, and study medication are provided at no cost. No insurance is needed and we never ask for payment information.
Is this safe?
Every study we run is reviewed and approved by an independent ethics board (IRB) and conducted under FDA regulations (21 CFR Parts 50, 56, and 312). Your safety is monitored at every visit.
Can I stop participating at any time?
Yes — you can withdraw at any time, for any reason, with zero penalty. Your regular medical care is never affected.
Will my information stay private?
Yes. Your information is protected under HIPAA. Your identity is never shared with the study sponsor without your consent.
